Overall Design Concept:
Nestled in the more quiet neighborhoods of Novaliches Quezon City, Vine Residences is designed not just to cater to its immediate environment, but also as a structure that would embrace nature as part of its architecture. The design for the entire development took the natural contours of the property as its main priority. Trees already present were preserved, intertwined with the landscaping, and was used as a market differentiator. Its five towers are shaped such that all units can enjoy the captivating views of the amenities while maximizing the property configuration. Towards the far end of the property, a basketball court and a gazebo can be found present alongside lush greeneries which also functions as picnic or camping grounds for residents.
Evidently, Vine’s design process revolves around its natural settings – from pragmatic aspects such as the tower and amenity orientation, to visual facets like the earth palette of its façade.
Vine aims to provide a place of rest where humans’ living conditions are placed hand in hand with nature to form a sustainable community.
Key Architecture Feature:
Since Vine’s design was conceptualized with respect to its natural surroundings, one interesting architectural feat was how a portion of the structure was suspended from the natural soil grade. This structural placement played a huge role in preserving the existing trees and vegetation within the property and at the same time prevents flooding and corrosion.
