JOB DESCRIPTION

Assigned to handle at least one (1) on-going production project and one (1) construction project.
Assists in the design and fabrication of fire protection engineering projects, systems, or equipment.
Performs engineering calculations by using calculator or computer to solve routine engineering problems.
Assists in the development of engineering drawings including plans and specifications based on calculations.
Assists in the preparation of project presentations to explain progress of project, which includes preparing routine graphic illustrations, charts and drawings.
Ensures that the required designs are within the established standards set by the Company.
Efficiently uses AutoCAD and other design-related software for designs, details and revisions.
Keeps directory of drawings and ensures that drawings are up-to-date and documented.
Prepares and submits reports on complete designs/drawings.
Facilitates seamless coordination between Construction, Design, Production and Engineering Department.
May be assigned to attend meetings with Jr. or Sr. Designer, as needed or required by client/owner

REQUIREMENTS

Graduate and License of BS Mechanical Engineering
Fresh graduate up to one (1) year work experience
Experience in small to large scale projects of different types (i.e. high rise, mid-rise, commercial, etc.)
Knowledgeable in MS Office, AutoCAD, Fire Protection Software Design.
Knowledgeable in local and international codes related to fire protection design
With high visual attention and keen to details
