Nustar Resort and Casino is a premier five-star integrated resort, the first and the largest lifestyle and entertainment destination in the Southern Philippines. A topnotch waterfront attraction located in Cebu, the entire complex comprises of world-class destinations that redefine gaming, entertainment, leisure, shopping, dining, retail and recreation over the region.

The entire resort holds a total area of 490,797 sqm, with 21,999 sqm dedicated to its casino and 4,998 sqm to its ballroom. The rest of the area contains notable attractions, including three hotel towers, a corporate tower, a 2,500-seat theater, a luxury mall and al-fresco restaurants by the waterfront.

Nustar’s overall design is derived heavily on its namesake and Cebuano roots. The name NUSTAR is derived from the company being a “new star” player in the real estate market – the North Star as the brightest. The brightness translated to magnificent lighting, surrounding the lower malls and the tower’s façade.

Cebu’s rich coastline is a major source of inspiration. Situated on the eye-catching Kawit Island by the sprawling South Road Properties, the perimeter of Nustar lines up strikingly along with the spectacular east coast of Cebu. The same applies to its design motifs. From the edged curvilinear contours to the surrounding wavy slats, from the grand entrance lobby to the bow-shaped rooftop deck, the design evokes the colorful prominence of Cebu as a port city.

The access and viewpoints of the coastal highways are also regarded on its design, giving a panoramic angle of Nustar’s lower-floor shopping venue for passing motorists. Traversing along the Cebu South Coastal Road provides Nustar’s formation, executed with luxurious artistry to evoke world-class style and sophistication and harken to other popular landmarks around the globe.

One of the major attraction in Nustar is the gaming floor, considered as the largest and most varied in the Southern Philippines with an area of 21,000 square meters and featuring 1,500 machines and 250 tables. Alongside the two-level casino are the Entertainment Bar and Sports Bar, which will serve exclusive events and exceptional cuisine. Meanwhile, the hotel towers serve provide 1,000 room keys and a bespoke customer experience with the most exclusive services, cuisine and amenities. The towers are also specially positioned to provide splendid ocean views and mitigate distribution of solar heat gain.
